Flicker impact assessments are studies that measure the potential effects of wind turbines on the surrounding area, such as the frequency and duration of shadow flicker on receiving receptors. Flicker impact assessments help to ensure that wind farms are designed and operated in a way that minimises the negative impacts on surrounding receptors, while maximising the benefits of clean and renewable energy. Water Use Licence Applications
